Pepper Mason is now offering Book Cover Design Services
I'm pretty flexible as far as cost is concerned. For e-book covers, I merely ask that you cover the cost of the stock you would like used, along with a small fee depending upon the complexity of design.
Here's how it works!
1. Tell me your idea! Send me an e-mail with your book cover request, including a detailed description of what you'd like your end product to look like. From this description, I can give you a good idea about what the additional fee will be, and how long it will take to complete the design.
2. Choose your stock. My favorite stock website is http://www.canstockphoto.com/ as all photos are royalty free. You can choose any stock you like, however. Just make sure you have permission to use it.
3. Send me your stock. You can send me an e-mail with either links to the stock you'd like to purchase, or the raw stock files themselves (Again, make sure you have permission!). The files will need to be large enough to meet the standards required by your publishing website. 2000-3000 pixels on the longest side is a good size to shoot for.
4. Receive an invoice with the final payment amount from myself. I require all payment in full before I begin any work. I accept payments via PayPal invoicing ONLY.
5. Receive your cover art! I'll sent you a high resolution copy of your cover art to use for publishing on any website. If you're not satisfied with the end result, I will tweak and change the image until you are completely satisfied! I will ask that you do not alter any part of the final image without my permission. I would also greatly appreciate it if you link back to my website and spread the word!
NOTE: If you are interested in digital or traditional art for your covers (examples can be provided), graphics based covers, or full wrap covers for print books, please send me an e-mail with your request details. These covers will be priced differently than standard stock-based e-book covers.
